Bringing the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem closer to customers in the Americas
The Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem (DTOE) continues to expand its global presence with the opening of a new office in Mexico City. Legally established as a Swiss AviationSoftware branch office, the office will serve the broader Ecosystem presence in the Americas and support our joint market approach across AMOS, AVIATAR and flydocs. In addition to its strategic geographic position, Mexico provides access to a highly skilled workforce and strong connectivity to both North and South America, making it an ideal location to support the Ecosystem’s continued growth in the region.
This strategic move is driven by a clear objective to provide closer, more effective support to the customers across the Americas, particularly the growing AMOS community in Mexico and Latin America, while strengthening the Ecosystem’s presence in the region. By establishing a local hub, the DTOE enhances customer engagement and enables more responsive, regionally tailored services. Together with the existing Miami office, it creates a dual-hub structure that ensures stronger regional coverage.
Positioning for Growth in the Americas
The Americas are an important aviation market with a mix of major airlines, low-cost carriers, and growing maintenance services. Mexico is a key hub connecting North and South America, supported by its growing airline and maintenance sector. The new office allows the DTOE to work more closely with Mexico and the wider Latin American aviation market, where fleet growth and infrastructure investment are increasing the region’s role in global maintenance activities.
Building a stronger regional organisation
Beyond customer proximity, the Mexico office also plays a key role in strengthening the DTOE’s regional organisation by recognising and leveraging the region’s strong talent base. While the Ecosystem will attract talent from across Latin America, Mexico stands out as a particularly important source of aviation expertise, with a well-established pool of highly skilled professionals. The new hub enables the DTOE to build a locally rooted team that combines regional knowledge, technical excellence, and customer-facing capabilities. This investment demonstrates our long-term commitment to the Americas by bringing us closer to customers, strengthening collaboration and supporting our growing AMOS, flydocs and AVIATAR community.
A comprehensive coverage of the digital Tech Ops value stream
AMOS, AVIATAR, and flydocs are the core solutions of the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem, which was established in early 2023. Each partner provides specialised digital products and services that complement one another while remaining independent companies.
Together, the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem delivers comprehensive coverage of the digital Tech Ops value stream—an offering that is unique in the aviation industry. Under the umbrella of Lufthansa Technik, the ecosystem partners enable airlines and other customers to digitalise and optimise their technical operations across the entire maintenance lifecycle.
