Vietjet Qazaqstan takes off with AMOS
At a glance
Vietjet Qazaqstan successfully went live with AMOS Airline Edition in April 2026. Following a stable post-implementation phase, the airline is now fully utilising the system to support and streamline its maintenance operations.
The carrier currently operates a fleet of five De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 aircraft serving 16 destinations across Kazakhstan and the region. By implementing AMOS, Vietjet Qazaqstan has taken a significant step toward modernising and digitalising its maintenance and engineering processes.
AMOS Airline Edition provides the airline with a fully integrated maintenance, engineering, and logistics platform specifically designed for airline operations. By consolidating maintenance planning, execution, inventory management, technical records, and compliance activities into a single system, the solution helps improve operational efficiency, enhance data accuracy, strengthen regulatory compliance, and support better decision-making across departments. The platform also enables greater visibility into aircraft maintenance status and resource planning, helping the airline optimise aircraft availability and reduce administrative workload.
The implementation also marks an important milestone in the airline’s transformation following its acquisition by the Vietnam-based Sovico Group, the co-founder and owner of Vietjet Air. As part of this transition, the airline is rebranding as Vietjet Qazaqstan, aligning itself more closely with the broader Vietjet ecosystem and operational standards.
This connection also builds on a long-standing relationship between Vietjet and Swiss-AS. Vietjet has been an AMOS customer since 2012, when the airline started operations with six aircraft. Today, Vietjet operates a fleet of more than 100 aircraft, demonstrating how AMOS has supported the airline’s growth over more than a decade.
In addition to adopting AMOS Airline Edition, Vietjet Qazaqstan selected AMOS Hosting Services, providing a fully managed and highly reliable hosting environment for its AMOS operations. By leveraging AMOS Hosting Services, the customer benefits from enhanced system availability, data security, regular backups, performance monitoring, and reduced internal IT infrastructure requirements.
By simplifying system maintenance and upgrades, AMOS Hosting Services allows the airline’s teams to focus on their core maintenance and operational activities It also provides a scalable foundation as Vietjet Qazaqstan further expands its operations, including the potential addition of Boeing 737 aircraft to its fleet.
With AMOS in place, Vietjet Qazaqstan is well positioned with a scalable and future-ready maintenance solution to support its continued growth and operational development.
